Mike Morris

A Business major at Jackson State University, Michael earned his Bachelor degree in 2002. Beginning his career in production and manufacturing, Mike worked his way through the auto industry, while learning how to handle schedules, supply chains, and budgets effectively. Not only did Mike handle million dollar budgeting, but Michael was also responsible for applying lean manufacturing concepts and launching various components for programs including Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Avenger, Jeep Liberty, Dodge Nitro, GM Malibu, Saturn Aura, CTS/Coupe, GM Traverse and Equinox.

In 2010, after years of working in the automotive industry and helping Detroit to regain its prominence as a manufacturing leader, Mike took on the challenging task of becoming operations manager to TRUKFIT clothing apparel during the first year of its development phase. Being asked to help build the company from an incubator to a national brand, Mike felt prepared and ready to help increase the brand’s awareness. Mike was tasked with establishing TRUKFIT brand messaging, hiring personnel including design teams, and spearheaded all launch activities and enlisting brand ambassadors to help increase TRUKFIT’s awareness.

Concurrently, Mike managed all internal business which included creating, tracking and evaluating production and shipping timeliness, while also being responsible for securing both t-shirt and hat manufacturers to set up a distribution chain for the merchandise to reach the retail stores.

Mike was also responsible for TRUKFIT’s integrated marketing and in-store marketing campaigns. Continuously seeing 25% annual sales increases, Mike became more and more determined to lead the creative team to develop a compelling digital sales strategy. Mike served as the liaison between investors, Lil Wayne, management, and staff.

After years of meticulously cultivating the TRUKFIT brand, Mike was ready to begin building his own brand and branched out to co-found The Bridge Agency. With years of influential marketing under his belt, Mike is prepared to assist other companies in effectively expanding their brand awareness and begin communicating their strengths to the world.
